CIPHER’S OBJECTIVES

• Dissemination and application of Homeland Security standards and benchmarks for infrastructure protection as criteria and procedures for practicing engineers, health care providers, legal professionals, and educators in these fields;
  
• Development and delivery of educational and training modules for the certification of professionals in both physical and cyber infrastructure protection;
  
• Service as liaison between Homeland Security and professional licensing and educational accreditation organizations;
  
• Leadership and growth of expertise in testing, certification, and transfer of new and promising technologies for infrastructure protection;
  
• Research and development of new technologies, methodologies, and policies, for infrastructure protection.
